MIRA International Culture Society 

Mira International Culture Society is a multicultural association for Immigrants and Finns living in Vaasa and the surrounding area.

We arrange exhibitions, concerts, meetings, festivities in many places in Vaasa.

Our activities include organization of various meetings and round tables.

We are working for social inclusion by celebrating cultural diversity without prejudice. 

CAFÉ SPICA - cultural meeting place

Friends Café for families, single persons and groups of different backgrounds. Friends Café is for meeting other people and share experiences.

Friends Café is a place for interaction between refugees, immigrants and local residents through various activities and we act as a low threshold meeting place and information point. 

Friends Café is for chatting, learning language and environment and having a cup of coffee or tea.

    World´s Day 25.11.2023

    Different multicultural societies, organize an event 25th of November called World’s Day (00.30 –3.00 pm. – in Finnish Maailman päivä). Place: Alma Adult Education Centre, Raastuvankatu 31.


    Världens dag är ett evenemang där medborgarorganisationerna och den mångkulturella regionen presenteras med artister, musik, dans och etniska smaker. Program också för barn. Evenemanget går av stapeln i Medborgarinstitutet Alma, Rådhusgatan 31, lördagen den 25.11. kl. 12.30-15.


    Maailman päivä on kansalaisjärjestöjen ja monikulttuurisen seudun esittelyä, artisteja, musiikkia, tanssia ja etnisiä makuja. Ohjelmaa myös lapsille. Kansalaisopisto Alma, Raastuvankatu 31, lauantaina 25.11. klo 12.30-15.
